Ly Thuong Kiet High School celebrates its 60th anniversary (1965

Attending the ceremony were comrade Pham Toan Thang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the province; agencies, units, enterprises; managers, teachers, staff and students of the school through the periods.

Ly Thuong Kiet High School was established on the basis of Yen Bai High School, with 5 classrooms, 217 students and 11 teachers.

After 60 years of construction and development, up to now, the school has 26 classes, 1,179 students, 62 teachers and staff, spacious and modern facilities, meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation.

From the school named after the national hero, 16,000 students have graduated, many former students have grown up to become leaders of central ministries and branches, key leaders in provinces and localities...

To meet training requirements, Ly Thuong Kiet High School actively innovates administration, modernizes facilities, promotes digital transformation; and builds a friendly - creative - happy learning environment.

Ly Thuong Kiet High School strives to reach National standards level 2 by 2030, becoming a high-quality, model school of Lao Cai province, contributing to realizing the locality's aspiration for sustainable educational development.
