Magnificent international Buddhist music exchange program

(NLDO) - The international Buddhist music and art exchange program was held in the sacred atmosphere of the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival.

The program was organized by the Central Cultural Committee and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City at Thisky Hall (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

With the theme of honoring spiritual values, love and peace, the program brings an elaborately staged art space, combining symphonic, folk and contemporary music, along with a modern stage system, impressive lighting and art effects.

In this program, musical works such as "The Quintessence of Prajnaparamita", "The Song of the World", "Vesak Song", "Living Joyfully - Giving Thanks", or "Buddhism Shines on Five Continents"... took the audience on an emotional journey of contemplation of Buddhist teachings.

Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac, Head of the Central Cultural Committee, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Vice President and Deputy General Secretary, Head of the Vesak Cultural Committee - emphasized that the program is a cultural bridge, where different artistic colors shine together in a spirit of harmony and respect.

The performance "The Essence of Prajnaparamita" opened the program.

In addition, the program is also a cultural bridge between countries, with the participation of many Buddhist art troupes from India, China, Korea, Cambodia, Thailand... bringing a rich experience of Buddhist culture.

Along with that, the Saigon Choir, Arabesque Dance Company, HBSO Symphony Orchestra, Phu Dong Folk Band and many other talented artists contributed to creating performances rich in emotion and cultural depth.
