Group of 10th grade students visited the festival

Taking advantage of the lunch break, a group of students from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted (District 1) discussed together about the technology applications in the festival.

"My school is the exam board so grade 10 students have 2 days off. The day off coincides with the program day so we spend all our time exploring all related activities" - Pham Quoc Hoang shared.

Among the AI products and applications presented at the festival, Hoang was most interested in smart glasses. Oppo Air Glass does not use augmented reality (AR) technology like glasses from Google, Microsoft or Nreal. The glasses simply operate with a display screen to project information such as calendar, weather, navigation, health data... received from the phone or watch in front of the wearer's eyes.

"Before, I thought these types of glasses only existed in science fiction movies or Conan cartoons. The first time I experienced them, I realized how fast technology in Vietnam in particular and the world in general is developing. It is possible that AI will be ahead of the future" - the group of friends commented.

With the theme "Artificial Intelligence - The Power of Life", the festival attracted thousands of students who love technology to visit.

Pham Thi Mai Phuong, a student majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, said that in her third year, Phuong has been exposed to more of her major and has started doing internships in a number of places. Many businesses are starting to pay attention to AI and want to see more applications of the technology.

"Biomedical engineering is related to medicine and people. Some companies in Korea have suggested combining AI, AI technology in testing, diagnosis, medical treatment support... Visiting festivals like this helps me visualize the overall picture of smart technology more" - Phuong shared.

Many papers were presented to help people better understand AI technology.

The fact that the festival has no age limit and no fee is a "plus point" that helps students easily visit and access technology. Young people hope that Ho Chi Minh City will have many useful programs and festivals related to this field.
