The children together created colorful paintings, sending messages of encouragement to their peers who are facing natural disasters. Each painting contains wishes for peace, a message of strength and resilience to overcome difficulties, bringing spiritual motivation to those in the flooded areas.

Ho Xuan Truong (a student in class 4/3) said that when his teacher showed him the pictures of the severe natural disaster, he felt very sad. “I hope the pictures and wishes will bring some joy and comfort to those who are suffering,” Truong said.

Not only stopping at drawings, the children also recorded images of themselves singing cheerful songs, full of emotions, sending hope to children in flooded areas.

Le Nguyen Linh Dan said that when she saw the images of the flood, she felt sorry for the children who had to evacuate to highlands to avoid the flood. “I hope everyone in the flooded area will be safe, and that they can soon return to normal life and go back to school,” Linh Dan shared.

According to Mr. Tran Dinh Cao Son (teacher at Nguyen An Ninh Primary School), this activity not only helps students express their sympathy but also arouses the spirit of mutual love, contributing to spreading the message of love to the community.

“As a teacher, I hope you realize that young people do small things, and every action, no matter how small, when spread, can bring joy and comfort to those around you. Your paintings, songs and wishes are all products rich in spiritual value, expressing sincere feelings to your friends in the flood-affected areas,” said Mr. Son.

After completing their products, students from Nguyen An Ninh Primary School wanted their teachers to send their drawings to children affected by the flood; at the same time, post the songs on social networks so that everyone can feel the love and sharing from students in Dong Nai.

Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc, Principal of Nguyen An Ninh Primary School, assessed this as a creative and meaningful activity. According to her, this method not only brings timely encouragement to students in flood-affected areas but also helps students clearly perceive the value of compassion, caring and sharing with others.

“In the near future, the school will launch a mutual love movement, mobilizing students to donate old books and school supplies to send to their peers in flood-affected areas,” Ms. Ngoc shared.

Teachers brought instant noodles and bread to the school to rescue 500 students . The floodwaters rose rapidly, isolating more than 500 students of Quy Nhon College of Technology ( Gia Lai ).
