Meeting with President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Korea on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of its National Day; Korea successfully hosted the APEC summit.

President Lee Jae Myung sent his condolences and sympathies to the Vietnamese people for the loss of life and property in the recent storms and floods.

The two leaders agreed to continue enhancing political trust through promoting high-level delegation exchanges; expanding substantive cooperation in defense and security; enhancing economic, trade and investment cooperation; and realizing the vision of making science and technology cooperation, innovation and digital transformation a new pillar in bilateral relations.

President Lee Jae Myung affirmed that Korea is actively promoting labor cooperation programs and wishes to further expand cooperation with Vietnam in this field.

The two sides also agreed to closely coordinate on regional and international issues of mutual concern, in which Korea supports and is ready to share experience with Vietnam in successfully organizing APEC Year 2027.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the invitation of General Secretary To Lam and key leaders of Vietnam to President Lee Jae Myung to soon visit Vietnam.

Meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that both sides promote market opening for each other's goods and consider signing a trade agreement. The Prime Minister asked the Indian Government to encourage large Indian corporations to invest in high-quality projects in Vietnam, especially in infrastructure, green energy, and logistics.

Sharing the cooperation proposals of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi supported the two countries to promote high-level visits and open markets for each other's goods in the context of complicated global trade developments.

Emphasizing that there is still great room for cooperation, the two Prime Ministers agreed to promote breakthroughs in economic, trade and investment cooperation while expanding defense, security and science and technology cooperation.

Meeting with Brazilian President Lula da Silva , the two leaders were pleased with the strong development of Vietnam - Brazil relations since upgrading the relationship to a Strategic Partnership.

President Lula da Silva affirmed that he attaches special importance to relations with Vietnam and wishes to deepen the Vietnam-Brazil strategic partnership, especially in the economic and trade fields.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked President Lula da Silva for his special feelings for Vietnam and welcomed the Brazilian Government's decision to recognize Vietnam's market economy status.

The two leaders welcomed and agreed to further facilitate investment and trade, open markets for agricultural products, and strengthen agricultural cooperation, especially coffee production and export.

Meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to strengthening friendship and cooperation with Turkey.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Türkiye considers Vietnam an important partner in the Asian region.

The two leaders said that the two countries still have great potential to develop to new heights, and agreed to continue striving to soon achieve the bilateral trade target of 4 billion USD; at the same time, they will study and form new frameworks for trade and investment, including promoting a free trade agreement between the two countries.

Meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Malaysia on successfully organizing the 47th ASEAN Summit.

The two leaders appreciated the efforts of the two countries' ministries and sectors to promptly implement cooperation areas, contributing to deepening and substantiating the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim supported Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's proposal to soon sign a cooperation document in developing Halal industry and coordinate the effective implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two sides strengthen maritime cooperation, coordinate closely, share timely and complete information on fishing vessels and fishermen, and treat humanely captured Vietnamese fishing vessels and fishermen.

Meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two countries effectively implement the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the European Union (EVFTA), aiming to soon bring two-way trade turnover to exceed 8 billion USD.

The two countries need to soon establish new cooperation mechanisms in areas such as infrastructure, high-speed railway, science and technology, innovation, agriculture and human resource training.

The Prime Minister also proposed that the two sides consider signing an agreement on visa exemption for holders of ordinary and official passports for citizens of the two countries.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez recalled good impressions of his visit to Vietnam in April, saying that the two sides need to strengthen trade and investment relations in areas with great potential.

The Spanish Prime Minister suggested that the two countries promote tourism, cultural, artistic and sports exchanges, contributing to strengthening the friendship and understanding between the two peoples. Spain always attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam and between the EU and ASEAN.
