On April 25, students at schools in District 1 and District 3 (HCMC) were allowed to leave school early to reduce traffic congestion and create favorable conditions for people to participate in watching the preliminary rehearsal of the State parade to celebrate the April 30th National Day.
According to Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, Head of the Departmentof Education and Training of District 1, students at schools in the district will finish school at 4:00 p.m. today at the latest, depending on the school's second semester schedule and exam schedule.

For schools that are holding semester exams, the dismissal time may be later, but not exceeding 4:00 p.m., to avoid traffic jams and ensure the safety of students and parents.
Similarly, in District 3, many schools have notified parents that students will be allowed to leave school before 4:00 p.m. on April 25. For example, Saigon Practice Primary School requires parents to pick up students at 3:50 p.m., and Luong Dinh Cua Primary School organizes students to leave school by grade, starting from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Speaking to Tien Phong newspaper , Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Principal of Luong Dinh Cua Primary School, said that letting students leave school early not only helps parents avoid traffic jams but also creates conditions for students and their families to participate in watching the preliminary rehearsal of the State-level parade.
The preliminary rehearsal of the state-level parade will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on April 25 on Le Duan Street, in front of Thong Nhat Hall, District 1. To serve the event, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) has announced traffic adjustments, banning vehicles on many streets in the city center from 5:30 p.m. on April 25 to 1:00 a.m. on April 26.
