Students across the province will be off from school from the afternoon of November 6 to the end of November 7.

The Department of Education and Training has just issued Document No. 1392/SGDĐT-VP dated November 6, 2025 to the People's Committees of communes, wards, and affiliated units on proactively letting students stay home from school to prevent and avoid storm No. 13.

Accordingly, to ensure the safety of children, pupils, teachers and staff of educational institutions; the Department of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct educational institutions within their management scope and units under the Department to carry out related tasks to prevent and avoid storm No.

Specifically, all educational institutions in Dak Lak province will allow students to take a break from school from the afternoon of November 6 to the end of November 7, 2025 to proactively prevent and avoid storms. In the following days, depending on the weather situation, heads of educational institutions will proactively allow students to take a break from school; not organize teaching and educational activities for students when weather conditions and facilities do not ensure the safety of students and teachers. During the school break, educational institutions will arrange for leaders to be on duty according to regulations.

Educational institutions continue to proactively respond to storm No. 13 and flood preparedness according to the actual situation and previous guidance documents of the Department; carry out information and reporting work according to regulations.

When there is an unusual incident, the units proactively report to the local authorities and the Department of Education and Training: units in the East of the province report through Deputy Directors of the Department of Education and Training Vo Thi Minh Duyen (phone: 0983.188.029), Pham Huy Van (phone: 0918.783.334); units in the West of the province report through Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Xuan Da (phone: 0903.046.875) for guidance and direction on handling.

It is known that to proactively respond to storm No. 13, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training have sent inspection teams to inspect storm prevention and control work at a number of educational institutions in the province.

It is known that educational institutions in all coastal communes and wards: Song Cau, Xuan Dai, Binh Kien, Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen, Hoa Hiep , Xuan Loc, Xuan Canh, Tuy An Bac, Tuy An Dong, O Loan, Tuy An Nam, Hoa Xuan, Xuan Tho, Dong Xuan, Phu Mo and some neighboring communes and wards have allowed students to take a break from school from the afternoon of the 5th (Wednesday) until the end of November 7, 2025 (Friday).
