High School Help Kit is a non-profit project founded by a group of students from specialized high schools in Hanoi , with the aim of accompanying and helping parents and students better understand the 10th grade entrance exam.
High School Help Kit recently organized the MASKA 2025 event at Nguyen Truong To Secondary School, Dong Da District, Hanoi. At the event, experts and students from specialized and key high schools in Hanoi under the High School Help Kit project shared their experiences, knowledge, and skills with 9th grade students to prepare mentally for the upcoming stressful 10th grade entrance exam.

In the final stage of the transition exam preparation process, not only grade 9 students but also their parents feel confused. In particular, this year's admissions period recorded significant adjustments in the exam structure and admission form according to the orientation of the new GeneralEducation Program. Although this change aims to improve the quality and comprehensiveness of assessment, it also requires students to adapt in a short time.

At the MASKA 2025 event, 9th graders experienced 5 separate areas: Museum Area, 1v1 Area, Connection Area, Creative Area and Expert Area. Coming to the 1v1 room, students had the opportunity to directly interact with speakers who are students with high achievements in the transfer exam as well as having typical extracurricular activities from specialized high schools in Hanoi. The practical sharing of the speakers will help students find effective learning strategies, how to balance time and maintain their spirit during the final exam preparation days.

In addition to the knowledge sharing space, MASKA 2025 also offers interactive and inspiring areas, helping students comfortably share their plans and dreams. Students also meet experienced experts to receive advice, equip themselves with the necessary knowledge to deal with psychological problems, and at the same time, build a healthy lifestyle and nutrition during the important exam preparation period.
Hoang Tue Minh, a 9NK2 student at Be Van Dan Secondary School (Dong Da, Hanoi) shared that at the event's Creative Room, the teachers shared a lot of useful knowledge and information. "When I came to this room, I no longer felt lost but very close and familiar. The teachers always proactively asked and shared experiences in the upcoming exam. I feel more confident as well as more motivated, and have more experience to conquer the upcoming tough 10th grade entrance exam," Tue Minh said.
Traveling a long distance to attend the event, Phi Anh Thu, a 9th grade student at Can Kiem Secondary School (Thach That, Hanoi) said that she encountered many problems such as lack of concentration, procrastination, anxiety, and lack of experience. “After participating in the MASKA 2025 event, I received valuable experiences and resources from my seniors to help me confidently prepare for the exam,” Anh Thu said.

Participating in supporting and advising 9th grade students, Nguyen Nhat Linh - a 10C student at Foreign Language Specialized High School said that sharing her story with the students helped her remember the difficult days of exam preparation and achieving brilliant results. Through her story, Nhat Linh inspired 9th grade students to strive and be determined not to give up in order to conquer the exam in the best way.
“For me, High School Help Kit is a very special journey. I hope that the sharing of real-life experiences from the speakers at High School Help Kit can help 9th graders gain more strength and try harder in the upcoming exam,” Nhat Linh said.
