This is the second consecutive year that FPT Schools students have affirmed their position in this prestigious academic arena.
The World Scholar's Cup is one of the world's largest and most prestigious team academic competitions for students aged 8-18. This year, the Tournament of Champions finals at Yale University gathered more than 2,500 young global citizens - the best candidates who had passed a series of previous regional and global qualifying rounds. In a challenging and fiercely competitive academic playground, the FPT Schools student team with 5 students from FPT Da Nang High School and FPT Can Tho High School demonstrated their steadfastness. The team achieved impressive results with a total of 20 medals, including 2 Gold medals and 18 Silver medals.
The team's achievements are distributed in many important categories, including: Team Debate, Debate Champions, Writing Champions, Challenge Medals, Team Writing and Team Bowl.
This is the second consecutive year that FPT Schools students have shone at the global finals held at the world’s most prestigious university, Yale University. To achieve this sustainable and continuous achievement, the luggage that the students bring with them is not only broad knowledge, but also the ability to use academic English flexibly, sharp critical thinking and persistent team spirit – core values that the school nurtures through strength experience activities such as Personal Development (PDP) and English & Global Competence.
In each round of the World Scholar's Cup, from competitive debates, thoughtful essay writing to solving complex team challenges, students have turned the competition into a journey of accumulating valuable "touchpoints of maturity". They learned to observe problems from a multi-dimensional perspective, confidently express their views in academic English, and be ready to cooperate and adapt flexibly in a multicultural environment.
