According to Agoda, searches for destinations in Vietnam by Australian travelers increased by 26% compared to the previous year. This increase comes from the need to escape the southern hemisphere winter and enjoy the warm tropical climate in Vietnam.
The most searched Vietnamese destinations by Australian tourists from June to August 2024 are: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi , Hoi An and Nha Trang.
In addition to the two largest tourist and transit centers in our country, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the remaining three cities are rated by Agoda as attractive to many Australian tourists to visit and relax thanks to their beautiful beaches, unique cultural heritage and warm, pleasant weather.
Statistics for the first 6 months of 2024 from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam show that Australian visitors ranked 4th in the group of 10 leading international tourist markets of Quang Nam with more than 71,000 visitors, only after Korea, Taiwan and the UK.
