Hoi An develops commercial infrastructure

The total number of business households is 2,551, including 2,085 regular households and 466 irregular households. The majority of traders in the markets are small traders, mainly serving local people. The types of goods in the markets are very diverse and rich.

For the commercial type serving tourism, there are: 3 night markets (Nguyen Hoang night market, Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa night market; Tran Quy Cap - Bach Dang night market); 2 fairs (Hoi An fair and Tan Thanh fishing village fair) and 1 commercial business area with more than 4,000 shops and stores, concentrated on the streets of 3 central wards.

Infrastructure for commercial and service industries such as petroleum, liquefied gas, food, medical examination and treatment, banking, telecommunications... is mainly invested by small and medium-sized enterprises and individual households, accounting for a low proportion of the total commercial and service industry in the city.
