Hanoi Red Cross Society donates and supports people in difficulty with more than 5.9 billion VND

Accordingly, from May 3 to 8, the Hanoi Red Cross Society organized two working groups to visit and present gifts to people in difficult circumstances and policy families in the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Ca Mau, and Vinh Long. This is also a practical activity that the city's Red Cross Society responded to the National Humanitarian Month peak chain organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in the provinces and cities.

At the launching ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2025 organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Tri province on May 5, on behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Le Tu Luc - Chairman of the Hanoi Red Cross Society presented gifts worth 200 million VND to families in difficult circumstances, families with meritorious services, war invalids, relatives of martyrs... in the province (including 50 million VND to support the construction of 01 Red Cross house; 150 million VND to award 15 livelihood support packages, each worth 10 million VND).

Next, in Quang Binh province, the Hanoi Red Cross delegation presented 50 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND, and 5,582 household products supported by LocknLock Company Limited, worth over 838 million VND.

On May 6, in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, the delegation presented meaningful and practical gifts to the local people. In Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province, the delegation presented 7,415 LocknLock household products, worth over 1.55 billion VND; presented 60 gifts worth 20 million VND supported by Tan Dieu Zen Monastery (Tan My Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province).

In Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, 8,085 LocknLock household products worth over 1.26 billion VND and 20 gifts worth 20 million VND from the support of Tan Dieu Zen Monastery were given to people in difficult circumstances.

Through meaningful humanitarian activities, the Hanoi Red Cross Society expresses its gratitude and desire to support people in difficulty, families with meritorious services, and those with meritorious services with the most practical assistance. Accompanying the Society are the participation in supporting resources from the following units: Hoang Mai, Bac Tu Liem, Thanh Tri, Chuong My, Phu Xuyen, and sponsors: LocknLock Hanoi Co., Ltd., Tan Dieu Zen Monastery (Long An province).

In Dong Thap province, on May 6, in response to the National Humanitarian Month, the delegation provided support to build 3 Red Cross houses, each worth 50 million VND; awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND. Along with that, 2,700 LocknLock household product sets worth 452 million VND were presented to families and students in difficult circumstances.

On May 7, in Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province, the delegation had a program to exchange and share experiences between the two localities. At the program, they provided support to build a Red Cross house worth 50 million VND and awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to families and students in difficult circumstances in Ca Mau province.

On May 8, the Hanoi Red Cross delegation had a meeting to exchange and share operational experiences with the Red Cross of Can Tho City and Vinh Long Province. In Can Tho, the delegation awarded 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students, each worth 1 million VND; supported a family in difficult circumstances to build a Red Cross house (50 million VND); and presented gifts of LocknLock household products to people in difficult circumstances.

Accompanying the City Red Cross Society on the humanitarian journey in the western provinces is the participation and support from the Red Cross Society of the following units: Ba Dinh, Hoang Mai, Long Bien, Dong Anh, Phuc Tho, Ung Hoa, Hoai Duc and LocknLock Ho Chi Minh Company Limited.

These are practical activities that the City Red Cross Society at all levels responded to "Humanitarian Month" 2025 with continued humanitarian journeys, providing assistance and sharing to places and lives that are still difficult in society.
