(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of May 6, at the City Theater Square, Hong Bang District organized the Workers - Farmers - Soldiers Music and Dance Festival 2025. This activity is part of a series of events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2025 with the theme "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up", 71 years of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025), 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday,

The Festival featured 16 singing, dancing and music performances. These were selected from the Festivals of the clusters and wards in the district. The entries were all carefully prepared, with themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, the people, praising the heroic history of the nation, as well as the great achievements of the country, the city and the district.

The festival brings a meaningful, unique and attractive art program to the people inside and outside the district. Typical performances include the performance "Hong Bang stance" by the district's officials, civil servants and public employees; the singing and dancing performance "Vietnam my homeland - Spring in the homeland - Hai Phong pride" by An Hong ward; the modern dance performance "Uncle Ho's generation youth" by Minh Khai ward; the singing and dancing group "Hai Phong takes off and flies up" by Quan Toan ward...

The 2025 Workers-Farmers-Soldiers Music and Dance Festival aims to widely disseminate the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions; the great historical significance of Hai Phong Liberation Day; praise and affirm the great achievements of the country and the Party Committee, government, army and people of Hai Phong city during 70 years of fighting, defending, building and developing; create conditions for people to participate in cultural and artistic activities and enjoy spiritual values; at the same time attract domestic and international tourists to Hai Phong city to learn about the people and culture of the city, promoting economic growth in cultural tourism.
