BHG - Among the countless beautiful flowers of children nationwide looking forward to the 10th National Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025, Ha Giang is honored to have 7 outstanding child delegates. Among them, Hoang Thi Bich Ngoc, an 8th grade student at Yen Minh District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities - is a special flower, carrying within her the spirit of overcoming difficulties and rising up, shining brightly in the mountains and forests of the far North.
Born and raised in Khau Ria village, Du Gia commune - a remote commune of Yen Minh district, considered the "core area" of Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, living and studying conditions are still lacking. But overcoming all, Bich Ngoc constantly strives to excel in studying and training, is always an excellent student, an exemplary Team Leader, a dynamic and active Team leader in school and community activities.

In particular, in the 2024-2025 school year, although she was in 8th grade, she participated in the advanced level exam and excellently won the third prize in the provincial excellent student category in Natural Science . This is an outstanding achievement, clearly demonstrating her persistent learning will and overcoming all barriers from difficult circumstances. That achievement is even more meaningful when written by a student in the northernmost part of the country, where the road to school is still full of hardships.
Looking back at her academic achievements, people cannot help but be impressed: From grade 1 to grade 8, Bich Ngoc continuously achieved the title of excellent student, excellent student. She won the second prize in the "I love Vietnamese" contest at the school level; the encouragement prize in Vietnamese at the provincial level; the encouragement prize in the excellent student contest in Biology at the district and provincial levels... Not only studying well, she also actively participated in movement activities, cultural and artistic activities, sports , competitions to learn about the law, traffic safety, eliminating backward customs... with a full spirit of enthusiasm.
Bich Ngoc shared: “The memory of visiting Uncle Ho's Mausoleum and reporting at Ba Dinh Square in 2019 is an unforgettable experience. I understand that I am representing all students of the school, coming here to remember and pay respect to Uncle Ho. That is the motivation for me to continue to practice and strive to be worthy of being a good nephew of Uncle Ho. I dream of becoming a female police officer like my father, that is the motivation for me to constantly strive.”

She is a shining example inspiring many highland children to firmly step on the journey to become useful citizens for their homeland and country.
As one of the 7 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children of the province, representing nearly 146,000 team members, teenagers and children from the whole province attending the 10th National Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress, Hoang Thi Bich Ngoc - a young student from the highland commune of Du Gia brought with her the pride of the land at the head of the Fatherland, participating in the meaningful journey of children across the country.
