On the morning of May 30, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education visited and presented gifts to 20 students with difficult circumstances who have made great strides in life at Lac Dao parish ( Thai Binh city).
Leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented gifts to disadvantaged students of Lac Dao parish.
The Lac Dao Parish Education Promotion Board was established in 2000. To encourage the movement of regular learning and lifelong learning for children in the parish, the Education Promotion Board has advised the Pastoral Council to build 5 classrooms with full tables, chairs, boards, electricity, speakers, microphones... for everyone to study. Along with that, the parishioners are encouraged to build a scholarship fund to reward excellent students and students with difficult circumstances who strive to study well. Up to now, the parish's scholarship fund is 15 million VND.
Representatives of the provincial Association for Promotion of Education and leaders of Tran Lam ward (Thai Binh city) presented gifts to disadvantaged students of Lac Dao parish.
The students who received the gifts all came from difficult circumstances but always tried their best to study. The meaningful gifts from the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education have contributed to encouraging and helping the students have more motivation to study better and become useful citizens to society.
