IPPG CEO signs strategic partnership with UN Women

The workshop program “AI and information security in the digital age” was organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council in collaboration with the Asia Foundation, the Danang Women Entrepreneurs Association; with the support of Imex Pan Pacific Import-Export Company Limited (IPPG), and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development.

Within the framework of the program, IPPG officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Vietnam.

With this event, IPPG became one of the first two enterprises in Vietnam to establish an official partnership with UN Women, affirming its pioneering role in promoting gender equality, women's economic empowerment and sustainable development practices in the private sector.

Participating in the discussion, Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien, General Director of IPPG said: “We believe that in the digital age, AI is not only a tool, but also an important strategic platform that will shape the way we think, operate and create value in the future. At IPPG, we not only see AI as a transformational factor, but also an inevitable step forward. Therefore, we are committed to applying AI responsibly to create sustainable value for the community and businesses”.

Ms. Thuy Tien also emphasized the importance of information security in the digital transformation process: “AI is only truly effective when combined with comprehensive security solutions. IPPG has proactively built a security system right from the design, with three core layers of protection: responsible data and AI management, multi-layered security infrastructure, and developing an information security culture throughout the entire corporation.”

The strategic cooperation agreement between IPPG and UN Women is expected to promote a human-centered business model, in which the role of women is promoted.

In addition to the signing ceremony, the workshop "AI and Information Security in the Digital Age" also brought many in-depth contents on technology trends, AI (artificial intelligence) applications in business management, security solutions to help businesses ensure information security...
