Provincial Women's Union summarizes 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of May 6, the Women's Union of Lang Son province held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" for the period 2021 - 2025.

Attending the conference were leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and unions; leaders of the Provincial Women's Union and 11 districts and cities.

Over the past 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01, women's unions at all levels have made efforts to research, create, and innovate propaganda andeducation work to raise awareness for female cadres and members, making studying and following Uncle Ho's example an important and regular task, suitable to the needs, practices, and capabilities of each level of the union and female cadres and members.

Accordingly, the Women's Union at all levels organized 7,640 propaganda sessions, attracting over 445,400 female members to participate; built 352 "Savings following Uncle Ho's example" models, attracting 21,903 members to participate, saving 1.3 billion VND; supported the construction and repair of 117 "Love Shelters" with nearly 2.4 billion VND; effectively implemented the "Association's adopted children" and "Godmother" models with 1,626 adopted and sponsored children.

The Associations at all levels organized gift giving to families with meritorious services, poor women, and new recruits leaving for military service, with 11,399 gifts worth over 6 billion VND; admitted 8,819 new members, bringing the total number of members in the province to 173,565, recognized 1,780 honorary male members; introduced 4,582 outstanding members to the Party for training, thereby 2,382 members and women were admitted to the Party... Through these activities, many outstanding collectives and individuals with creative ideas in various fields were commended and rewarded by the Central Association, all levels, sectors, and the Women's Union at all levels.

At the conference, delegates discussed a number of contents such as: the role of female leaders of the ward/neighborhood in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; Solutions in deploying, implementing and mobilizing women members to actively participate in the movement to protect national security, protect borders and landmarks; the effectiveness of implementing the propaganda model to bring information to the grassroots in conjunction with implementing social security activities in residential areas... Through the discussions, it contributed to clarifying the results, limitations and lessons learned in the process of implementing Conclusion No. 01 at the grassroots level.
