On the afternoon of November 4, the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held the 97th regular meeting to give opinions on the draft Report on the results of leadership in implementing tasks in October and the key directions and tasks for November 2024. Within the framework of the working program, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a Conference to announce the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, in Decision No. 1627-QDNS/TW, dated October 29, 2024, the Central Party Secretariat approved Comrade Tran Trung Hien - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission to join the Dak Lak Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The report at the conference said that in October 2024, the province's socio -economic situation in general continued to develop stably, with most indicators increasing over the same period. Compared to the previous month, the industrial production index is estimated to increase by 6.6%; total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by 2.4%; total revenue from tourism increased by 16.44%; total budget revenue reached 81.15% of the plan; export turnover increased by 3.9%. In October, 150 enterprises and 5 cooperatives were newly established, with a total of 57 newly established cooperatives, reaching 95% of the plan. The province received 12 project dossiers requesting investment policy decisions with a total investment capital of VND 985.5 billion; approved investment policy decisions for 02 projects with a total investment capital of VND 340 billion.

Cultural, sports, employment, social security, and poverty reduction activities continue to receive attention and ensure people's lives. In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of tasks in October 2024 still encountered some difficulties and limitations such as: low collection of provincial land use fees, affecting the implementation of investment projects using the provincial budget; the work of preparing and approving district-level land use plans and plans and land use plans originating from agricultural and forestry farms was still slow; violations of the law and social order and safety still occurred...
