Training conference on the use of electronic contracts

The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ca Mau province; Mr. Pham Hoc Kiem, Deputy Director of Viettel Ca Mau; along with 90 delegates who are civil servants and public employees of departments, branches, sectors, and unions of the province; Associations, Provincial Business Associations; enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments, and OCOP entities in the province.

At the Conference, Mr. Tran Hoang Khoi, Head of Trade Management Department, introduced to delegates the key contents of the Law on Electronic Transactions No. 20/2023/QH15 effective from July 1, 2024; Introduction and instructions on the use of electronic contracts and authentication of electronic contracts.

An electronic contract is a contract established in the form of a data message. In which the entire contract signing process of the enterprise will be digitized, helping to save 90% of the costs of printing, storing, transporting and the time to sign the contract between the parties. The contract after signing meets the certification requirements on the Vietnam Electronic Contract Development Axis ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), ensuring the legality equivalent to a traditional contract according to current legal regulations.
