Attending the Conference were Dr. Tran Quoc Trinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Health , representatives of departments under the Department, leaders of the Hai Phong 115 Emergency Center and staff of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam.

At the conference, the two sides agreed to coordinate between the Korean Embassy - Department of Health - 115 Emergency Center. The Embassy will provide a 24/7 hotline and establish a joint contact group to receive information and promptly handle cases of Korean citizens having accidents or sudden situations in Hai Phong . The two sides discussed priority plans to connect seriously ill foreign patients, especially Korean citizens, to hospitals capable of receiving and treating them. The Embassy proposed to support Korean interpreters and deploy QR code instruction sheets to help Korean patients quickly connect to the interpreter support hotline when receiving treatment at medical facilities. The Embassy also suggested coordinating the selection of Korean volunteers to participate in supporting at some hospitals.

To enhance mutual understanding, the two sides agreed to propose holding meetings to share guidelines for handling medical incidents involving foreigners, as well as exchange information on epidemics and public health issues. The Department of Health and the Korean Embassy will coordinate to organize training sessions on emergency response skills for Korean citizens working at Korean enterprises in Hai Phong. The organizing force includes Embassy staff, the Department of Health and representatives of enterprises. The Embassy proposed to add subtitles and Korean translations to emergency response signs at hospitals, factories, public agencies; Website of the 115 Emergency Center and hospitals in the area; Instructional videos and emergency hotlines...
The 115 Emergency Center will study equipping Vietnamese-Korean bilingual instruction cards on ambulances to support communication and initial support for Korean patients, thereby ensuring better health care conditions for the Korean community living and working in Hai Phong.
