In the Southeast region, pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is currently at 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday; in Binh Phuoc, pepper price today is at 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Pepper prices today, December 1, 2025, closed November with a sharp increase from 4,000 to 5,500 VND/kg. Specifically, pepper prices in Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau recorded an increase of 5,000 VND/kg compared to the previous month. In Gia Lai, pepper prices increased by 5,500 VND/kg compared to the previous month. In the Southeast region, pepper prices decreased by 5,000 VND/kg compared to the beginning of November.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), citing data from the ITC, Germany imported 2,241 tons of pepper in September 2025 with a turnover of 17.9 million USD. Compared to August, the import volume increased by 15.3%, but decreased by 12.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Vietnam was Germany's largest supplier with 1,135 tons, accounting for more than 50% of total imports, followed by Brazil and India.
By the end of September 2025, Germany imported a total of 23,206 tons of pepper, worth 184.6 million USD. Compared to 2024, the import volume increased by 8.1%, while the turnover increased sharply by 55.2%. Vietnam continued to play the leading role with 13,742 tons and accounted for 59.2% of the market share, Brazil ranked second with 22.5%, while India and Cambodia contributed a smaller share.
Germany is currently the largest pepper consumer market in Europe and the fifth largest globally, with a stable demand of about 28,000 - 30,000 tons per year. Vietnam has been the largest supplier to this market for many years thanks to its stable output and quality that meets the requirements of German businesses.

World pepper prices today
Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the end of the most recent trading session, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,136 USD/ton, and the price of Muntok white pepper at 9,717 USD/ton.
Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper price was at USD 6,175/ton. Malaysian ASTA black pepper price remained stable at USD 9,200/ton; the country’s ASTA white pepper price reached USD 12,300/ton.
Today, Vietnam black pepper price is traded at 6,500 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l at 6,700 USD/ton; white pepper price at 9,250 USD/ton.
Pepper prices in Indonesia and Malaysia fell sharply compared to last month. Specifically, Lampung black pepper prices fell by 75 USD/ton (down 1.04%), Muntok white pepper prices fell by 344 USD/ton (down 3.42%). Similarly, ASTA black pepper prices fell by 175 USD/ton (down 1.87%), ASTA white pepper prices fell by 100 USD/ton (down 0.81%).
Pepper prices in Vietnam and Brazil increased sharply due to weather factors and scarce supply. Specifically, IPC updated that Vietnam's white pepper increased by 200 USD/ton, Vietnam's black pepper increased by 100 USD/ton. Brazilian pepper increased by 75 USD/ton (up 1.23%).
IPC said that at the end of November, global pepper prices had mixed developments. Vietnamese pepper prices increased sharply in both domestic and international markets, while Indian pepper prices decreased due to the Rupee's depreciation of about 1%, weakening purchasing power and affecting export prices.
