Central Reporters Online Conference November

On the morning of November 16, the Central Propaganda Department held an online conference for November reporters at 1,424 connecting points nationwide with 52,500 delegates attending. Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, chaired at the central connecting point.

Attending the conference at Ninh Binh bridge were comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of the Propaganda Departments of district, city and party committees; and provincial-level reporters.

At the conference, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor informed about the preparations for the Vietnam Trade Union Congress.

Accordingly, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union will officially take place from December 1 to 3. For the first time, before the congress, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize 10 thematic discussion forums to promote the intelligence of delegates in discussing and proposing initiatives to solve major problems facing the Trade Union organization in the new situation, contributing to realizing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.

The leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also provided information on the security and order situation, political security among workers in the past time, and orientations for the coming time.

Delegates also listened to representatives of the Department of Party and Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security) provide some main contents of the 41st Asia-Pacific Conference of Prison Management Officers, taking place from November 12 to 16, hosted by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

The conference was attended by more than 200 delegates from 25 countries, 3 international organizations, representatives of domestic press agencies and 18 diplomatic agencies. The conference had the theme of creating human values, trust and solidarity in prison work.

Also at the conference, delegates heard the Central Inspection Commission inform about the outstanding results of inspection, supervision and party discipline work in the first half of the 13th Party Congress term, and directions and tasks in the coming time.

Regarding the orientation of propaganda work in the coming time, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, requested the team of reporters and propagandists to closely follow the contents of the topics reported in the conference to spread widely to all classes of people.

He suggested that propaganda work for the working class should emphasize the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the environment, and its impact on the working class.

For the propaganda of the 41st Asia-Pacific regional conference of prison management officials, based on documents from the Ministry of Public Security to propagate in the right direction.

Regarding inspection and supervision work, strengthen propaganda to raise awareness of cadres and party members about inspection and supervision work, the results of inspection and supervision work of inspection cadres at all levels. Strengthen people's trust in inspection and supervision work; propagate that cadres and party members do a good job of criticism and self-criticism...

Strengthening the dissemination of socio-economic development results in 2023. Disseminating the determination of all levels and sectors in implementing the 2023 plan and development orientation for 2024.

Reporters at all levels need to closely follow major events of the country and each locality to propagate in accordance with the direction of the Central Propaganda Department.

At the end of the conference, orienting some propaganda contents in the coming time, comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested the Propaganda Departments of district party committees, city party committees, affiliated party committees, reporters and propagandists to focus on promoting propaganda of new directives and resolutions issued by the Central and the province, activities of provincial leaders and major holidays and political events of the country and locality.

Strengthen propaganda on identifying digital accounts including social network accounts, OTT networks and other online services for a healthy and civilized network environment. Propaganda on hanging the Party flag according to Regulation 99-QD/TW.
