Vietnam is preparing to welcome a strategic event for junior golf: Trang An - AJGA International Pathway Series 2026, scheduled to take place at Trang An Golf & Resort Ninh Binh , from January 22-25, 2026. This is the first time the International Pathway Series (IPS) has cooperated with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) to organize a tournament right in Vietnam, opening the door to directly connect domestic school golf with selection programs and scholarships from American universities.
As an AJGA tournament, all results and technical criteria are applied according to the international standards that AJGA is using for the global Pathway series.
This gives young Vietnamese athletes an internationally standardized rating scale, making it easier for foreign scouts to monitor and evaluate their actual abilities. The fact that the IPS is taking place on home soil for the first time also means that the opportunity to access the international ranking system is now a reality right here in Vietnam.
The venue, Trang An Golf & Resort, not only possesses a special landscape and location in a UNESCO-recognized area, but also fully meets the strict technical standards to host an international tournament.
The organizing committee and local units have closely coordinated to ensure convenient logistics, transportation and accommodation for athletes, delegates and international observers, providing a professional and safe competition environment.
Trang An - AJGA International Pathway Series 2026 is not only a week of competition, but also an important testing step for the development roadmap of Vietnamese youth golf, creating a premise to connect domestic academies with international partners, while helping athletes directly access the sports scholarship selection mechanism.
