Bac Kan Provincial Journalists Association held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

BBK - On the afternoon of June 17, the Bac Kan Provincial Journalists Association held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Bac Kan Provincial Journalists Association (June 7, 2005 - June 7, 2025); and to review the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" in Bac Kan province.

Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; former leaders of press agencies, members of the Journalists Association through the periods; representatives of central and local press agencies in the province.

Opening the meeting, journalist Luc Dai Luong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association reviewed the 100-year tradition of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism.

For over 28 years, Bac Kan press has accompanied the homeland and the country on the journey of innovation and development. From the early days of the province's re-establishment, with only more than 16 members from the two agencies Bac Kan Newspaper and Bac Kan Radio and Television, the Provincial Journalists Association has now grown to nearly 100 members.

Through 5 Congresses, the Association now has 05 Branches. With the efforts of members and journalists, in recent years, the Bac Kan Provincial Journalists Association has been honored to receive 01 Emulation Flag, 03 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 02 Emulation Flags, 04 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; many branches and individuals have been awarded.

Leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department congratulated the Provincial Journalists Association.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere with sincere and emotional sharing about journalism from veteran journalists and working members.

At the program, the Provincial Journalists Association announced and awarded many prizes to recognize the positive contributions of its members such as: Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with achievements in the Emulation Campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Bac Kan Provincial Journalists Association (June 7, 2005 - June 7, 2025); Awarding Certificates of Merit to the Emulation Movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" in Bac Kan province; Certificates of Merit to a group of authors whose press works won the Encouragement Prize - Creative Award on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the second phase, 2021 - 2025.
