Overview of the workshop.

With a history of formation and development of more than 700 years, from Chu Son village under the Tran Dynasty, to Thuy Chu village under the Le and Nguyen Dynasties, then Sao Vang Farm town, Sao Vang town in modern times. Since the Ly and Tran Dynasties, the Muong tribe has come here to live, then other clans such as Trinh, Le, Bui, Nguyen..., from many places across the country have gathered, together with the Muong tribe to establish villages, make a living, and make a living.

Among them, the Trinh family played the most important role in the process of exploration and development of this land. In addition to the Empress Dowager Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong, a great historical figure, "the one who laid the foundation for the Later Le Dynasty", there were also the meritorious mandarins of "Binh Ngo Khai Quoc" Trinh Khac Phuc, Trinh Duy Hieu, Trinh Duy Thuan, Trinh Duy Lieu, Trinh Duy San...

Therefore, today, on the land of Thuy Chu, there are many valuable historical and cultural relics such as: The tombstone of the late Thai Bao Binh of Dai Viet, Trinh Duy Hieu, and places that still leave quite strong traces such as: Go Lang, which is said to be the burial place of Queen Mother Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong; Phu Ba is the place to worship Queen Mother Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong; Phu Trinh is also known as the Trinh family temple....

The ancient bibliographical sources (records in official history, genealogy and steles...) recording about Chu Son land that are still preserved today are extremely valuable evidence, contributing to clarifying the presence of the Trinh family - the first generation of residents and the first to contribute to the "opening of mountains and breaking rocks" to establish Chu Son land since the 13th century (Tran Dynasty).

18 presentations by scientists , historical, cultural, tourism researchers... from research institutes, universities, professional agencies at the central and local levels at the workshop focused on 3 main contents: Historical context, landscape and location of Thuy Chu land; Typical historical figures; Preservation and promotion of historical and cultural heritages of Thuy Chu land today.

It clarified and unified the views on the in-law relationship between the Le family in Lam Son and the Trinh family in Thuy Chu; The role and position of Chu Son mountain (also known as Chu mountain, Chau mountain) "as a precedent of Lam Kinh relic site with temples and mausoleums of the Le dynasty, so it is very sacred"; Thao Quang (Lang mound) - the training place of the Lam Son insurgents, and later the burial place of the Trinh family such as Queen Mother Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong and high-ranking officials in the Le dynasty court such as Trinh Khac Phuc, Trinh Duy Hieu...

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Tuong - Institute of History, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences proposed that the authorities of Thanh Hoa province should have a plan to preserve and restore historical and cultural relics related to the Trinh - Thuy Chu family in general and founding hero Trinh Khac Phuc in particular.

At the same time, researchers also raised major issues such as: There needs to be a balance between the role and influence of "internal Cham - external Chua" with Le Loi; Quickly conduct archaeological research on historical and cultural sites in Thuy Chu land as a basis for building temples and clearly determining the death anniversary of Queen Mother Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong; expand the space of the Trinh - Thuy Chu family tombs...

Along with that, propose effective solutions for the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural relics, such as: assessing and recognizing the Trinh - Thuy Chu family's ancestral temple as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic; Building a temple to worship founding hero Trinh Khac Phuc and other famous historical figures on Thuy Chu land; Preserving the ancient tomb complex on Thao Quang hill (also known as Go Lang) and Trinh Palace; Reconstructing the Hoang Kinh temple to worship Queen Mother Trinh Thi Ngoc Thuong...

In particular, the presentations all affirmed that the preservation and promotion of the value of relics in Thuy Chu land is the basis for creating initial motivation for tourism in Sao Vang town, making the most of the strategic location near Tho Xuan airport and available resources.
