The 2025 Dien Bien Province Storytelling Contest was a great success

Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Tran Ngoc Son - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Tran Hai Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; Tran Dang Ninh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Contest Organizing Committee.

The Organizing Committee and the Jury of this year's contest highly appreciated the efforts of the participating teams, from choosing the book to sharing to the way of presentation and expression, which were all elaborate and highly artistic, ensuring accuracy, information security and other relevant legal regulations. The contest entries were aimed at the right subject, implemented in accordance with the rules, appropriate to the age; promoting authenticity, accuracy and objectivity. The contest teams all performed in accordance with the registered program and script. The contestants in the participating teams showed a true passion for books, opened their hearts in each story and devoted all their heart to making the contest entries.

The contest is not only a place for students to demonstrate their vivid and inspiring storytelling skills, but also an opportunity for them to immerse themselves in heroic historical pages and meaningful stories from the treasure trove of knowledge of the nation and humanity. Through each story, each story comes to life, carrying a humane message, a moral lesson, and arousing love for the homeland, country, teachers, family and friends. Not only simply retelling the story, the students also show creativity in the way they present: combining illustrations with stage props, sound, background music, etc. to make the contest more vivid and attractive.

Regarding the team introduction, the teams did a great job in introducing their teams. The contestants were aware of the importance of books, their thoughts and feelings when attending the contest. Regarding the book promotion , the judges and delegates were truly surprised by the students' ability to perceive and express themselves. They almost transformed into the characters they told, making the characters no longer lie still in the works but become lively and real through each story. Each story told brought the audience emotional vibrations and partly inspired, with strong spreading power. It can be mentioned as the competition of the teams: Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Primary School, Pom Lot Primary School, Thanh An Commune Secondary School, Thanh Xuong Secondary School, Dien Bien Phu High School, Dien Bien Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities...

The talent part has made this year's contest an attractive and interesting talent race between the participating teams. The teams brought melodies, lyrics, singing, and graceful, rhythmic dances; imbued with rich cultural colors, imbued with national identity and suitable for the children's age. Each team is a color, the performances are elaborately staged, achieving high artistic quality. These are not only creative performances but also an opportunity for the audience to review the glorious history of the nation - achievements exchanged for countless sacrifices, hardships and blood of previous generations. Through that, the children express their love for their homeland, national pride and show their determination to continue the tradition, join hands to build their homeland and country more and more beautiful. After 4 days from October 23 to 26, the Dien Bien Province Storytelling Contest 2025 was a great success. The contest took place enthusiastically with the participation of 30 teams, more than 1,000 contestants from primary schools, middle schools, high schools and vocational education - continuing education centers across the province. This is one of the healthy cultural activities, leaving many good impressions; especially for teenagers and children. And what is more meaningful is that the contest has become a playground, a forum for children to share their thoughts and feelings about books and libraries. From there, it helps children raise their awareness of learning, training, cultivating morality, nurturing their aspirations, the ideal of contributing to their homeland, striving to become good children, good students, and good citizens.

At the closing ceremony, the contest presented outstanding performances, leaving deep impressions in the hearts of the audience. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 03 First Prizes, 09 Second Prizes, 18 Third Prizes and 09 Special Prizes (including: 03 Book Introduction Prizes, 03 Team Introduction Prizes and 03 Talent Prizes) for each block (Primary, Middle School, High School and Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center). Sponsors also accompanied the program, giving many meaningful gifts to the winning teams and some teams from remote communes; contributing to encouraging and motivating the spirit of participating in the contest and spreading the reading culture to all regions of the province. On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 teams with outstanding achievements participating in the contest.
