Implementing the program of youth union work and youth movement in 2024, this afternoon, June 25, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Office of the Ministry of Public Security and Quang Tri Provincial Police to organize the contest "Quang Tri Youth propagates and educates the law on drug and crime prevention".

The contest had 9 teams from districts, towns and city unions: Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Trieu Phong, Hai Lang, Cam Lo, Dakrong, Huong Hoa, Quang Tri town and Dong Ha city. The teams took turns going through the following competitions: Quick answer; Skit; Joining hands with propaganda content to improve knowledge and skills in preventing and combating drugs and violations of laws related to cyberspace and traffic safety.

With the review, full preparation of knowledge, and careful practice of the skits, the teams have conveyed the content relatively fully in an exciting, enthusiastic way and met the requirements. Thereby contributing to the propaganda, dissemination, education of law, knowledge, skills on drug and crime prevention and control for union members and youth; creating positive changes in awareness and action, contributing to reducing risks, repelling crime and drug abuse. This is also a healthy playground for union members and youth to learn and master basic knowledge on drug and crime prevention and control as well as express their voices and opinions, thereby promoting the responsibility of each individual for drug and crime prevention and control.

As a result, Cam Lo District Youth Union team won first prize; second prize went to Vinh Linh District Youth Union and Trieu Phong District Youth Union teams; third prize went to Gio Linh District Youth Union, Dong Ha City Youth Union and Quang Tri City Youth Union teams.
