Son Trach Ho Chi Minh Provincial Hall held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

On the morning of April 13, the Ho Chi Minh Trail Association of the province held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Trail Association, leaders of the Provincial Military Command; presidents of the Ho Chi Minh Trail Association of the province through the periods, and more than 100 delegates representing nearly 4,000 cadres and members of the districts, cities and towns.

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the heroic tradition of the nation, the historical significance of the resistance war against the US to save the country with the highlight of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign. The Great Victory in the Spring of 1975 is a heroic page in the history of building and defending the country, bringing our country into a new era, the era of independence, unity, territorial integrity, building a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, a strong country, a fair, democratic and civilized society. The Ho Chi Minh Campaign was a complete victory, the South was completely liberated, the Truong Son troops participating in the Campaign successfully completed their tasks, the Truong Son soldiers of the past always deeply engraved the pride and honor of being a part of the heroic history of the nation, the core and important force, contributing to the Great Victory in the Spring of 1975, completely liberating the South, and unifying the country.

After returning from the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, the Truong Son soldiers of the past have continuously contributed, shining with the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, joining hands to build their homeland and country to become more and more innovative and beautiful. Currently, the whole province has 5/6 Truong Son Ho Chi Minh Trail Associations at the district level, with nearly 4,000 members participating in activities. Of which, the number of veteran members is 2,836, youth volunteers is 1,037 and 76 members are frontline workers. Associations at all levels always focus on propagating and educating members to raise awareness and understanding of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; mobilizing members to uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, exemplary in implementing all policies and guidelines of the Party and the State, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, building cultural families, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Activities of gratitude and comradeship are promoted. Many members have actively participated in the movement of good production and business, helping each other develop the economy , reduce poverty sustainably, and improve living standards.

Joining in the joy, excitement and pride of the entire Vietnamese people to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Truong Son soldiers of the province deepen their pride and honor to be a part of the heroic history of the nation, continuing to strive to fulfill the tasks of the association, focusing oneducating the younger generation on tradition; mobilizing and exploiting the potential of members and effectively mobilizing the support of society to do a good job of solidarity, showing gratitude to comrades and taking care of members' lives; improving the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and local campaigns; consolidating and building a strong association, actively contributing to building an increasingly innovative and developed homeland.
