Today (April 21), candidates register for the 2025 high school graduation exam

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates use the system login accounts provided by the Departments and high schools. Then, they register for the online exam on the Ministry's system at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

If you have never logged in before, you should change your password for security purposes, then fill in the required information. This information is similar to the direct exam registration form.

Independent candidates can also register online by logging into the National Public Service Portal, instead of only in person as in previous years.

The Department of Quality Management ( Ministry of Education and Training ) notes that candidates need to carefully read the instructions and items in the registration form before declaring. If there is any unclear point, candidates must ask the reception staff for full instructions. Candidates are fully responsible for the information declared.

For 12th graders, registration is done online through a personal account provided on the exam management system. Immediately after receiving the account, candidates must change the password and save the login information. If you forget your account or password, you need to contact us to have it reissued.

Portrait photos uploaded to the system must be in the correct ID format, have a minimum resolution of 400x600 pixels and be taken within 6 months of the time of application submission.

During the process of registering for the exam, preliminary registration or university and college admission, candidates must use a unified type of identification document such as: Citizen identification card, personal identification code, passport number. If there is a need to apply for university or college admission, candidates must fully and accurately declare information related to preferential policies and provide valid evidence on the software within the registration period.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27, with more than 1.1 million candidates expected to take the exam, an increase of about 40,000 compared to last year.

Here are 6 steps to register for the online exam that candidates need to note:

Step 1: Access the registration link of the Ministry of Education and Training: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

Step 2: Candidates log in to their account information.

Account information includes: CCCD/ID card/Resident number, login code, then fill in the correct blue confirmation code (case sensitive).

For independent candidates, log in using the National Public Service Portal (white box with blue letters under the Login box), fill in account information or scan the VNeID code on your phone.

Note, independent candidates when registering online with VNeID still have to print the exam form, get confirmation from the ward police of the necessary documents and then submit it to the application receiving point along with documents such as priority points (if any). Therefore, candidates can register directly from the application submission stage if they do not want to register online.

Step 3: Change login code

After logging in, the login code change screen will be displayed.

Candidates change their login code (change password).

The password must be strong: at least 8 characters, including numbers, special characters, uppercase characters, and lowercase characters.

Step 4: Enter information on the online exam registration form.

After successfully changing the login code, the online registration form entry screen appears. Candidates enter the information on the registration form. Candidates fill in the correct information on their birth certificate and citizen identification card.

Step 5: Save the exam registration form.

Step 6: Print the exam registration form.

Candidates log in to their account, and select the following operations: Registration form; Registration form details; Print registration form.
