More than 1,000 people will attend the 2025 Children's Olympic Run Day in Dien Bien province

Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 1490/KH-UBND on organizing the 2025 Children's Olympic Running Day in Dien Bien province.

The objective of the Plan is to promote the implementation of the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"; to propagateand educate Olympic values ​​and the meaning of noble sportsmanship in the community, especially the young generation; to respond to the 131st anniversary of the founding of the International Olympic Committee (June 23) and Vietnam Sports Day (March 27).

The 2025 Children's Olympic Run Day in Dien Bien province has the participation of 1,100 people.

At the same time, encourage and motivate children to actively participate in physical training, sports , entertainment to improve health, physical strength, and stature. Cultivate moral qualities, personality, life skills, and comprehensive development to help children better understand the role and good meaning of Vietnamese sports, the international Olympic movement, and thereby form a healthy lifestyle through sports activities.

The plan requires that the organization of the 2025 Children's Olympic Running Day be in accordance with the International Olympic Charter and the Regulations of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, ensuring solemnity, practicality, safety, economy, efficiency, while creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere among a large number of young people participating in sports training and summer activities.

The 2025 Youth Olympic Run in Dien Bien province is scheduled to take place on May 25 at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument on a 2km route. The run will be attended by about 1,100 people including junior high school students, high school students, guides, referees, support staff and performers.

Along with the activities responding to Running Day are sports activities including Pole Pushing, Tug of War and Modern Dance.

The plan also clearly states that the Provincial People's Committee assigns relevant units to closely coordinate in implementing the work on time, promptly reporting and advising on resolving any problems or issues that arise.
