
During the day, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support from the Ministry of Construction of 5 billion VND; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) of 10 billion VND; K15 students of Hanoi Law University of 105 million VND; Thanh Xuan Trung Primary School, Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi of 80 million VND.
Presenting the donation of 5 billion VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh said: Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in areas affected by storms, the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry have organized donations and support to share difficulties with people in affected localities, demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and support" and "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, the Ministry mobilized forces and resources to quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, ensuring smooth traffic and other essential infrastructure; at the same time, focusing on supporting localities to build flood-proof houses in the coming time.
On behalf of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Do Van Chien expressed his sincere and deep gratitude to the hearts and noble gestures of the officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Construction sent to the people affected by storms and floods. The Central Relief Mobilization Committee is committed to receiving the donations and distributing them promptly and to the right addresses to help people in the provinces affected by storms and floods have more resources to rebuild their lives as soon as possible.
On the same day, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received 2 billion VND from the Chinese Business Association in Vietnam; 636,113 million VND from the Association of Former Vietnamese Teachers; 5,500 Euros from the Association of Vietnamese People in Westsachsen Zwickau, Federal Republic of Germany; and 300 million VND from TSQ Vietnam Company.
