More than 1,500 cadres and teachers were trained in the Clean Water Education Program - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of May 29, the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province coordinated with Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company Limited to organize a training activity to strengthen the water education program "Mizuiku - I love clean water" in the locality.

The training program was attended by over 1,500 delegates, including leaders and experts from the Departmentof Education and Training of districts and cities; teachers from primary schools participating in person and online at 244 connecting points (including 155 primary schools, 89 primary and secondary schools in the province).

Mizuiku - I love clean water is an initiative program initiated by Suntory Group in Japan since 2004 and officially implemented in Vietnam since 2015. In Japanese, MIZU means water, IKU means education. MIZUIKU means water education, also known as "Mizuiku - I love clean water".

The program is designed for primary school students, consisting of 2 parts: Part 1: Classroom at school (including lesson content integrated into many subjects of the main curriculum); Part 2: Experiential activities in nature (including discovery activities - learning through experience and practice in national parks).

The training focused on building the capacity of delegates in effectively implementing the "Mizuiku" program, while raising awareness of the importance of protecting and using water resources sustainably for future generations. Teachers had the opportunity to exchange and discuss enthusiastically about initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the program in schools in the province, share practical experiences and seek innovative teaching methods.

Through the training, administrators and teachers were equipped with valuable tools and materials to effectively disseminate knowledge about clean water to students. This is an important step in building a sense of responsibility among the younger generation towards the environment and this precious resource.
