More than 1 million visitors came to Quang Ninh during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

On May 3 alone, the total number of tourists to Quang Ninh reached 216,000, of which 93,000 were overnight visitors; total tourism revenue was estimated at 594 billion VND.

Localities with a sharp increase in the number of tourists include Ha Long city with 125,000 visitors; Mong Cai with 42,770 visitors; Uong Bi with 19,500 visitors; Van Don with 25,000 visitors; and Co To island district with 4,000 visitors.

The World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay is always an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists with 17,000 visitors, of which 6,200 are international visitors; Sun World Park welcomes 10,000 visitors;

Quang Ninh Museum welcomed 7,700 visitors; Yen Tu scenic spot welcomed about 3,000 visitors; Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring area welcomed about 480 visitors; Cai Chien island welcomed about 700 visitors; international visitors entering through Mong Cai border gate were 4,811.
