More than 1 million candidates complete registration for high school graduation exam

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training , up to the above time, there were a total of 1,165,289 candidates registered for the exam.

Of these, 1,122,507 candidates (accounting for 96.33%) are grade 12 students and 42,782 (accounting for 3.67%) are independent candidates.

There are 16,072 (1.38%) independent candidates taking the exam under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program and 26,711 (2.29%) independent candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, from April 28 to May 9, the units registering for the exam will review, check, and edit candidate information (if any), and review the candidates' reserved scores (if any).

Also by the end of May 9, the registration units will look up information from the national population database to confirm priority status according to permanent residence and ethnic minority groups for candidates.

Printing the list of candidates registering for the exam in the order a, b, c,... of the candidates' names; printing, signing and stamping the Exam Registration Form for candidates registering for the exam online, having candidates sign to confirm the exam registration information on the Form and the list; handing over Exam Registration Form No. 2 to the candidates and keeping Exam Registration Form No. 1 to be completed no later than May 13.

Complete editing of candidate information (if any); approve exam registration information; hand over the List of registered candidates and Exam Registration Form to the Department of Education and Training from May 16 to May 20.

From June 1 to June 6, review the data on candidates' learning results and training results; have students review and sign confirmation; approve graduation recognition information on the Exam Management system.

Public announcement of cases of candidates who are not eligible to take the exam is required to be completed by June 7th at the latest.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. On June 25, candidates will go to the exam location on the notification to complete the exam registration procedures. This year's exam will have 2 exam questions for candidates to take, following the 2006 General Education Program and the 2018 General Education Program.
