This is an activity of profound political and cultural significance, taking place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) towards the key creative period of the literary and artistic community of Ho Chi Minh City.

After the incense offering ceremony and a minute of silence in memory of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation moved to visit the Reunification Hall - the former Independence Palace, witnessing the historic moment at noon on April 30, 1975 when the Liberation Army tank crashed through the palace gate, ending the victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The delegation consists of more than 100 artists in the fields of literature, theater, music , cinema, fine arts, photography, dance... Among them are many veteran artists who have experienced the resistance period and also many young writers, directors, singers, and designers who are making their mark in contemporary art and culture.
The trip “Following the footsteps of the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising” will take place over 4 days, from May 27 to 30, in Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc provinces, taking the delegation through historical sites associated with the Ho Chi Minh campaign: Xuan Loc (Dong Nai), Ta Thiet base (Binh Phuoc), the march to Saigon… Thereby, creating realistic materials, historical emotions and creative spirit for the team of artists.

This is the first time a creative field trip has been organized on a large scale and systematically, accompanied by specialized staff, researchers and historical witnesses, contributing to connecting the depth of memories with modern creative inspiration for artists.
