TPO - On April 5, Nghe An Provincial Police organized a humanitarian blood donation program in 2024, responding to the national voluntary blood donation day. With the motto "Every drop of blood given - A life left behind", more than 200 officers and soldiers directly participated in blood donation.

Since early morning, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Police have registered to participate in voluntary blood donation with high spirits and a bustling atmosphere. Each officer and soldier will participate in donating from 300ml to 350ml of blood. In the photo, officers and soldiers are screened and have their blood pressure measured before donating blood.

This is the 17th time Major Nguyen Dinh Khanh - Head of the Youth Department of Nghe An Provincial Police has donated blood. According to Khanh, donating blood is something that should be done regularly. He himself still donates blood 2-3 times a year.

“As a young officer, wearing the People's Public Security uniform, working in the beloved homeland of Uncle Ho, I see blood donation as a humane and meaningful activity, playing a practical role in supplying blood reserves to hospitals. At the same time, blood donation also helps the body regenerate new blood sources, contributing to improving the health of the blood donor himself. "Every drop of blood given - A life remains", hoping that my drops of blood will help save someone when they are seriously ill and need urgent blood transfusion", Major Khanh shared.

During her 12 years working in the industry, Captain Le Thi Khanh Linh (officer of the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police) has donated blood 10 times. “I started donating blood when I was 19 years old, when I was a student. Every year, I register to donate blood. Donating blood is a very meaningful and necessary thing to help those who need blood to sustain their lives,” Captain Linh confided.
