More than 30,000 vehicle data and driving licenses were submitted by people to the iHanoi application after 2 days of implementation.

After 2 days of implementing the peak of the general review and cleaning of vehicle registration and driving license data, Hanoi City Police received more than 30,000 data submitted by Hanoi residents to the application "Digital Capital Citizen - iHanoi".

According to information from Hanoi City Police, as of 5:00 p.m. on November 13, 2025, the City Police recorded 32,417 data submitted by people to the system, including 17,993 driver's license data and 14,424 vehicle data.

To effectively implement the data cleaning plan, the City Police have stepped up propaganda work in many diverse forms. Units coordinated with news agencies and newspapers to post video clips and infographics to help people understand the benefits and implementation process on the iHanoi application.

Along with that, at large shopping centers in the capital, instructional video clips are shown on large LED screen systems, helping people easily access and grasp how to perform data cleaning.

On November 13, 2025, many working groups including Traffic Police and Commune-level Police went to residential areas to propagate and guide people to review and update information.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hieu, a resident of Group 7, Cluster 1, Tay Ho Ward, shared: "The ward police came to my house to guide my family to make a declaration. In just a few minutes, we completed cleaning the data on the iHanoi application."

In Me Linh commune, Mr. Le Van Quang also said that it only took about 10 minutes to complete the cleaning of driver's license data and vehicle registration. "Previously, the local police force had clearly disseminated the implementation plan, so when I was given direct instructions, I found it very convenient and was ready to cooperate," Mr. Quang shared.

Sharing more about the implementation, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quang, Deputy Head of Tay Ho Ward Police, said: "We assigned officers to each residential area and household to guide people, especially the elderly or those who are not familiar with using smartphones, to ensure that 100% of people can clean their data themselves."

With the goal of reviewing and cleaning nearly 8 million vehicle data, 130,000 driving licenses and digitizing about 8 million vehicle registration records under management, Hanoi City Police are working day and night with the people, determined to complete on schedule, contributing to building a synchronous and modern traffic data system, effectively serving the State management of traffic order and safety.
