Computerized Test-taking - A Step Forward in Modern Survey Organization
One of the new features of this year's survey is that students take the test online on computers through the LTV Exam software deployed internally by the school. Students work directly on computers arranged in survey rooms with a simple, easy-to-use interface and specific instructions before taking the test.
The school has carefully implemented the transition to computer-based testing to increase consistency in organization, support more objective grading, and create conditions for students to become familiar with the technology-based testing format that is increasingly popular in generaleducation today.

At the school gate, many parents brought their children to the testing site from 6:30 a.m. Many said that this was the first time their children had taken the test on a computer, so the whole family had prepared in advance. “Before the test, my children and I practiced at home a few times with the set of questions published by the school. Taking the test on a computer is also a trend, so I think it is very necessary for children to have early access like this,” said Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, a parent from Nam Tu Liem district.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Tran Manh Dung (Cau Giay) said: “I appreciate the school's organization. From the guidance to the online survey organization, everything was professional and methodical. Although the children were still a bit confused, this was a very practical experience.”
Representing the Board of Directors of Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School, Ms. Van Thuy Duong - Vice Principal of the school said that the conversion of the survey form from paper-based to computer-based is a suitable adjustment step in line with the long-term orientation of the school's teaching and learning. "We want students to get acquainted with modern learning methods early, where technology plays a practical supporting role. Doing tests on computers is not only convenient but also reflects the learning environment that students will encounter in the future" - Ms. Van Thuy Duong shared.

Many parents and students were present at the school very early to participate in the capacity assessment survey. |
Ms. Van Thuy Duong also shared that from the 2025-2026 school year, the 10th grade admission process at Luong The Vinh has been carried out entirely online, parents can register and submit applications directly on their mobile phones. This method is not only more convenient for parents and students, but also helps shorten the time to process applications, reducing procedural pressure during the admission season: "We always try to streamline the process so that each admission season is not only effective but also more friendly and accessible to students and parents."

Clear survey structure, organized towards competency assessment
According to information from the school, the test is divided into two parts: Linguistic Thinking (60 minutes) and Logical Thinking (30 minutes), with a total test time and break time of 105 minutes. Students take the test directly on the computer, under the guidance of a supervisor. The Linguistic Thinking section is designed to test the ability to read and use language in both Vietnamese and English. The Logical Thinking section focuses on questions that require students to apply reasoning, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Before taking the Survey, students are instructed on the login process and notes during the test. |
Before the survey, the school published sample practice questions to help students familiarize themselves with the survey structure and computer operations. In addition, students were also instructed on how to use the software at school before the survey day.
This is the first year that the computer-based test has been applied in the entrance exam for grade 6 at Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School. This is done in parallel with the technical preparation steps, facilities and instructions, to ensure that students can access it conveniently during the test.
The test is an opportunity for students to experience modern test-taking methods and demonstrate their thinking and language skills. This is also an activity that clearly demonstrates the educational philosophy that Luong The Vinh School pursues, building a serious learning environment, training students' will and independent thinking.
