More than 40 referees complete VFF training course

In 2024, Vietnamese football will have 22 professional and non-professional tournaments with nearly 1,800 matches. According to statistics, about 2/3 of the matches taking place each year in Vietnamese football belong to non-professional tournaments - equivalent to nearly 1,200 matches.

The VFF Executive Committee pays special attention to training supervisors and referees for non-professional tournaments. The training course before the 2024 Vietnam non-professional football season will take place from January 2 to January 5, 2024.

Immediately after the training session, the referees, referee supervisors, and match supervisors immediately participated in the 2024 Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament and the 2024 National U19 Championship qualifying round.

Representative of the organizing committee, lecturer - referee Nguyen Trung Kien reported the results of the 4-day training course, from January 2 to January 5. Accordingly, the training course had the participation of 17 supervisors and 91 referees. In the physical test, 90/91 referees participated, of which 41/43 referees completed (94% rate), 47/47 assistant referees had passed. In the law test, 100% of the trainees completed it excellently.

The organizers assessed that the trainees had prepared well for the training course, demonstrated a will to improve, and made efforts to fulfill the requirements during the training course.

" We hope that the talent will continue to improve, learn, and maintain training to meet the increasingly higher requirements in upcoming matches ," emphasized lecturer Nguyen Trung Kien.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi expressed his thanks to the efforts of the referees and the instructors of the training course in imparting knowledge to the trainees. At the same time, he also congratulated the referee supervisors and referees who had completed the training course. General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi hoped that the trainees would continue to improve their skills, maintain their learning spirit, and improve their qualifications to complete their work well in the future.
