Provincial People's Council supervises in Bac Quang commune

On October 29, the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Delegation under Decision No. 56/QD-HDND dated August 26, 2025, led by Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session in Bac Quang commune. Attending the meeting were Comrade Phan Ngoc Hiep, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Quang commune.

Overview of the working session.

After the merger, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the drastic management of the Commune People's Committee and the consensus of the People, Bac Quang Commune has achieved many positive results in socio- economic development. Agricultural, forestry and livestock production have been maintained stably; trade and services have developed, budget collection has been on schedule. The fields of education, health, culture and sports have received attention, organizing many exciting activities, connecting the community. Social security policies, poverty reduction, and job creation have been fully and promptly implemented; administrative reform and digital transformation have had many clear changes. In 2025, the commune was assigned 17 socio-economic targets (the Provincial People's Committee assigned 15 targets; Bac Quang Commune assigned 2 more targets), of which 16 targets are estimated to reach and exceed the plan, the food output target has not been achieved due to the impact of natural disasters.

The inspection team inspected Quang Minh Medical Station, Bac Quang commune.

At the meeting, Bac Quang commune proposed that the province soon issue a unified guidance document on organizational structure, regimes, policies and personnel work after the merger; consider adding staff to the commune due to its large area and large population. Propose training and fostering of cadres in digital transformation, attracting technology human resources to the grassroots; support funding to overcome natural disaster damage from June to October 2025.

The inspection team inspected the health department activities at Nguyen Trai Secondary School, Bac Quang commune.

Through inspection, supervision and synthesis of opinions at the working session, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thanh Tra highly appreciated the results that Bac Quang commune had achieved in the process of implementing tasks after the merger. She requested the commune to continue promoting the achieved results, focus on solving work according to its functions and tasks; strengthen management, closely follow the locality, promptly report arising issues to competent authorities. At the same time, it is necessary to effectively use financial resources, develop solutions for sustainable economic development and well implement the preparation and organization of elections to ensure compliance with regulations, democracy, safety and success.

Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, presented gifts to disadvantaged families in the commune.

On this occasion, the Supervisory Delegation visited and presented gifts to 3 households in difficult circumstances in the commune, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and caring of the Provincial People's Council for the people at the grassroots level.
