More than 400 athletes participate in the 2025 Bac Kan Province Volleyball Tournament for middle-aged and elderly players

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the athletes participating in the Tournament.

The tournament attracted 445 athletes, including 183 male athletes and 262 female athletes from 16 delegations from 8 districts, cities and units: Provincial Military Command, Department of Health, Provincial Women's Union, Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Former Teachers' Association, Nam Dung Bac Kan Enterprise, Bac Kan Ceramics and Construction Exploitation Joint Stock Company, GOVINA Investment Joint Stock Company.

The women's teams compete in four age groups: 40-46 years old, 47-53 years old, 54-60 years old, and 61 years old and above. The men's age groups are 45-51 years old, 52-58 years old, 59-65 years old, and 66 years old and above.

The matches took place in full swing after the opening ceremony.

The Bac Kan Province Volleyball Tournament for the Middle and Seniors is an annual activity, attracting a large number of athletes from units, localities, and volleyball clubs throughout the province to participate in the competition. This is also an opportunity for the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue promoting the movement of physical training and competition in general and volleyball in particular, practically celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of Bac Kan Province (April 11, 1900 - April 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); at the same time, continue to promote the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

The competition will close and award prizes on April 13, 2025./.
