In the first 6 months of 2025, the campaigns and patriotic emulation movements chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have received consensus and high response from the majority of people. In particular, the front system in the province has effectively implemented the emulation movements: Cadres, civil servants and public employees of Soc Trang province compete to implement office culture in the period of 2019-2025; Soc Trang joins hands to build new rural areas in the period of 2021-2025; Promote the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; Practice thrift, fight waste in Soc Trang province; The whole country builds a learning society, promotes lifelong learning in the period of 2023-2030 in the province...
The highlight is that the Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province has focused on implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Soc Trang province in 2025". As a result, the province has received a total budget of over 417.7 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
Through review, the total need to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province is 8,917 houses; to date, 7,872 houses have been completed and put into use (of which 5,930 are newly built houses and 1,942 are repaired houses). It is expected that by June 30, 2025, temporary and dilapidated houses in the province will be eliminated.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang province commended and rewarded 11 collectives and 19 individuals with many achievements in the work of the front and patriotic emulation movements.
