On February 24, on her personal page, artist Hong Phuong (daughter of artist Hong Nhung, granddaughter of the late artist Vu Linh) apologized to the audience and admitted her mistakes due to the recent scandals, on the occasion of Vu Linh's first death anniversary.

Please let Hong Phuong accept all the mistakes, sorrows and rumors. I only hope that those who understand will sympathize and have mercy...

Previously, the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District (HCMC) announced that it had accepted a lawsuit over the inheritance dispute over the estate of the late artist Vu Linh (real name Vo Van Ngoan).
In this case, the plaintiff is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (sister of artist Vu Linh) and the defendant is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (daughter of artist Vu Linh).
According to the content of the lawsuit, Ms. Nhung requested the court to declare the annulment of the inheritance declaration document made by Ms. Loan on April 7, 2023 at Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen Notary Office for some of the inheritance of the late artist Vu Linh.
