- Afternoon of April 29, The Provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam held a meeting to review preparations for the exam in the province. Comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.
According to According to the report of the Departmentof Education and Training (DET) , the preparation work for the organization of the exam in the province has been carried out seriously and on schedule. The DET has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue directive documents, establish a Provincial Steering Committee, assign specific tasks to members, and ensure unity and synchronization in the organization of the exam.
The 2025 high school graduation exam has many innovations such as: reducing the number of exam sessions for 12th grade candidates from 4 session reduced to 3 sessions; increased the proportion of learning process assessment results in graduation from 30% to 50%; expanded the form of online exam registration; adjusted regulations on exemption from foreign language exams and no bonus points for vocational certificates. The arrangement of exam rooms and distribution of exam papers for combined exams have also been adjusted more strictly to ensure the seriousness and objectivity of the exam.
As of April 28, the province had 10,007 candidates registered for the exam, including 9,439 12th graders and 568 independent candidates; it is expected to organize 22 exam sites with about 460 exam rooms. The Department of Education and Training is actively implementing plans to prepare facilities for the exam, surveillance camera system, exam scoring server, printing and copying exam papers, transporting exam papers, making and grading exam papers.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training has completed the organization of the trial exam. 1st time , professional training for teachers and staff participating in the exam; guidance on online exam registration; review of material conditions at exam sites; prepare plans to ensure exam safety and security in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the plan, the exam will take place from June 25 to 28; marking will take place from June 30 to July 13; exam results will be announced on July 16.
At the meeting, the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam approved the draft assignment of tasks to members; reviewed the preparation content for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. At the same time, the steering committee members discussed and proposed solutions to organize the exam to ensure security, safety, objectivity and seriousness.
Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee emphasized: The 2025 high school graduation exam takes place in a context of many innovations in organization methods, requiring higher preparation work in terms of initiative, synchronization and accuracy. Therefore, to ensure the organization of the exam safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations, the Department of Education and Training needs to continue to promote review and knowledge training for students in a practical and effective manner; organize full and thorough training on exam procedures for staff and teachers participating in all stages of the exam. Districts and cities should strengthen extensive propaganda about the new points of the exam so that parents and students can clearly understand.
In addition, he requested that plans be developed to ensure security, order, and safety for the exam, especially fire prevention, traffic safety, and reasonable traffic flow in the exam areas. Localities and units must proactively develop plans to ensure health care for exam invigilators and candidates; strengthen disease prevention and control, and ensure food hygiene and safety during the exam. Exam sites need to be reviewed and fully equipped with facilities, ensuring conditions for electricity, water, technical equipment, security monitoring systems, and having contingency plans ready to handle arising situations.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested leaders of districts and cities to closely direct and coordinate with the education sector and functional agencies, perform well the assigned tasks, promote the highest sense of responsibility, and be determined to organize the exam successfully, safely, seriously, and with quality.
