Press conference to inform the content of the 33rd session - Provincial People's Council, term XI

At the press conference, Mr. Ngo Minh Hoa - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council said that the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 33rd session (special session) on the morning of April 2, 2025 at the Provincial Border Guard Command Hall to decide on contents under the authority submitted by the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, at this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee on Regulations on the authority to decide on investment and procurement of information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds from the state budget under the management of the province; Regulations on the level of support for implementing the resettlement of residents in the form of concentrated or mixed resettlement until 2030 in the province; Regulations on the content and level of support for implementing the rural tourism development program in the new rural construction period 2021-2025 in the province; Abolishing Resolution No. 01/2020/NQ-HDND dated May 8, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on assigning investment policy decisions for a number of group C projects in the province.

The 33rd session of the Provincial People's Council also reviewed and decided on draft resolutions on Supplementing the 2025 budget revenue and expenditure estimates (phase 1); Adjusting the 2025 public investment plan using lottery capital; List of land plots for bidding for projects using land in Binh Thuan province.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism gave comments at the press conference.

Along with that, the Provincial People's Council considered and approved the content of the Regulation on the authority to decide on approving tasks and budget estimates for purchasing assets and equipment; renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in invested construction projects of agencies and units under the management of the province; Regulating a number of contents and expenditure levels for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan homeland (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025); Adjusting and supplementing the land area in the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces (in Binh Thuan province).

At this session, the Provincial People's Council will carry out personnel work within its authority.
