ITRI is a pioneer in Taiwan's successful technology transfer model with a history of more than 50 years of development. The institute has become the cradle of most of Taiwan's breakthrough technologies before being transferred to production and commercialization.
ITRI has spun off many leading technology corporations such as TSMC ( the world's leading chip manufacturer) and VIS (Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation). Many leaders of major technology corporations in Taiwan are from ITRI, including Mr. Frank Kuo - co-founder of Accton Technology Group. This affirms the institute's special role in technology development and talent training for the innovation ecosystem.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing a comprehensive cooperation strategy to develop high-tech industrial parks in Vietnam and Vinh Phuc province.
The three main pillars that are particularly emphasized include infrastructure planning according to modern international standards, building attractive investment incentive policies, and developing high-quality human resources - key factors for the success of the new generation industrial park model.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center Tran Quang Ngoc expressed the strong commitment of the local government in accompanying businesses. Vinh Phuc, with its strategic location in the Northern key economic region, is determined to shift its economic structure towards high-tech industry.
Vinh Phuc is ready to receive and implement high-tech investment models according to international standards, and is committed to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies to attract strategic investors.
Sharing about business strategy, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Executive Vice President of CNCTech Group, clearly affirmed the company's orientation in developing a high-tech industrial park model associated with applied research activities. Accordingly, CNCTech does not simply build traditional industrial parks but aims to create advanced and sustainable industrial ecosystems.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized the orientation of building creative spaces, where businesses can not only invest in production, but also be given maximum conditions to innovate, create and connect deeply with the global value chain.
This vision is completely consistent with the trend of modern industrial development in the world, while contributing to improving Vietnam's competitiveness in attracting high-quality FDI capital flows.
ITRI demonstrates its commitment to providing comprehensive support to Vinh Phuc province and its businesses in developing high-tech industrial parks. Specifically, ITRI will provide technical support in planning, overall and detailed design from the provincial level to the industrial park level. In addition, with its extensive and reputable network, ITRI will call for potential investors from Taiwan to Vietnam, especially Vinh Phuc province.
With ITRI's technology development experience, CNCTech's strategic direction and support from Vinh Phuc provincial government, international standard high-tech industrial parks are expected to soon be formed in Vietnam, actively contributing to the industrialization and modernization process and enhancing Vietnam's position on the global technology map.
