Thuong Nong Agricultural Cooperative provides 11,000 pink banana seedlings to farmers in Bao Yen district.

Accordingly, Thuong Nong Agricultural Cooperative provided 11,000 red banana seedlings to farmers in Yen Son and Dien Quan communes, of which Dien Quan received 5,030 trees and Yen Son received 5,970 trees. The program is part of the project to link production and consumption of banana products according to VietGAP standards in the district, period 2023 - 2025.

According to the 2025 plan, Bao Yen strives to plant 110 hectares of pink bananas in the communes of Xuan Hoa, Kim Son, Tan Duong, Yen Son, Dien Quan. Banana planting is one of the models helping Bao Yen people improve their income and escape poverty.

After providing plant varieties, officials of Thuong Nong Agricultural Cooperative instructed people on techniques for planting and caring for pink bananas according to VietGAP standards.

It is known that since 2023, Thuong Nong Agricultural Cooperative has cooperated with Bao Yen District Agricultural Service Center to implement the project of growing red bananas in Kim Son and Xuan Hoa communes. After planting, the plants grew and developed well, all products were purchased by the Cooperative at stable prices. On average, each hectare of red bananas brings in an income of about 250 million VND.
