Good training at Regiment 270

Regiment 270 (Division 341) organizes target shooting test for new soldiers.

To motivate collectives and individuals to strive, Regiment 270 uses training results and achievements in annual competitions and sports as criteria for emulation, rewards, and assessment of the level of task completion of the Party Committee, unit and each cadre, using that as a basis for arranging, using and appointing cadres. The Regiment also focuses on directing the building of excellent training company and battalion points, focusing on units that have not achieved excellence, units with weak points and weak aspects. Thereby, drawing experience, expanding, at the same time detecting and resolutely fighting against subjective manifestations and complacency.

During the training process, the Regiment always adheres to the motto "Basic, practical, solid" for frame A, "Basic, practical, effective" for frame B; attaches importance to synchronous, in-depth training, focusing on practice; well implements 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations in training. At the same time, closely combines military training with political education, training to master existing weapons and equipment, close to the tasks, objects, areas, suitable for the organization, structure, and equipment of the unit. The annual inspection results for frame A are 100% satisfactory, 85% good, excellent. Reserve soldiers mobilized, called for annual training reach over 98% of the total number. Every year, the unit participates in drills, alerting for mobilization readiness inspection, receiving through the station with good results, absolute safety; participates in competitions and sports events organized by superiors.

Along with preparing facilities, the Regiment focuses on building and perfecting the system of lesson plans and training curricula. Training contents are researched and updated in a scientific , practical and appropriate direction to the cognitive level of new soldiers. In particular, the unit has applied technology to prepare lectures, innovated teaching methods in a visual and vivid direction, closely combining theory with practice to improve training effectiveness.

The regiment also organized training courses to improve pedagogical skills and training methods, helping cadres improve their organizational, management and soldier guidance capacity. During the training courses, cadres were trained in teaching methods, how to handle pedagogical situations, grasp the psychology of new soldiers, and exchange experiences in practical training.

To effectively carry out the training of new soldiers, Regiment 270 has done a good job ofeducating , thoroughly grasping the directives, regulations, and instructions of all levels on building discipline, abiding by discipline, strictly maintaining daily and weekly regimes; doing a good job of management, maintaining discipline, gradually training soldiers to adapt to the military environment, voluntarily comply with the laws of the State, military discipline and regulations of the unit, participating in activities to ensure absolute safety, all ensuring good qualifications, health and political standards. Through each training session, 100% of soldiers completed the program, had a firm ideological stance, and were confident in their work; were proficient in technical and tactical movements, implementing orders, and knew how to flexibly apply the training contents to handle situations in performing tasks at the unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Trong Thanh, Political Commissar of Regiment 270, said: "Determining that cadres are the root of all work, only good cadres can have good units. Therefore, the Party Committee and the Regiment's command always do a good job of training and fostering the cadre team comprehensively in all aspects of work. In which, focusing on changing awareness, improving qualifications and linking the responsibility of the cadre team with training results. Every year, before the training season, after the training sessions, the Regiment organizes "tests" of cadres and requires cadres participating in training to achieve good or excellent qualifications or higher. The Regiment organizes an inspection of the cadre team first, if the results are guaranteed, then the troops will be inspected. Promoting the results and experiences achieved, the cadres and soldiers of Regiment 270 have been and are continuing to strive to better perform the task of building a "Good Training Unit", worthy of the tradition of the Regiment".
