From 2021 to present, the Association of the Elderly at all levels in the province has established 64 intergenerational self-help clubs, attracting nearly 3,500 participants, bringing the total number of intergenerational self-help clubs operating in the province to 94 clubs attracting thousands of members of different ages with the same desire to care for and help the elderly, especially those in difficult circumstances in the community.
The intergenerational self-help clubs all maintain their activities well according to the guidelines of the International Elderly Support Organization. Of these, 51 clubs are very strong, 13 clubs are strong, and there are no average or weak clubs. Typical examples in building and maintaining intergenerational self-help clubs are Hung Yen city, Khoai Chau district, and Tien Lu district.
