Instructions on how to travel by bus to attend the 2025 Buddha's Birthday Festival

(PLVN) - To facilitate people to attend the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center provides detailed instructions on the bus route.

Accordingly, people take bus route number 81 (Cho Lon bus station - Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park) to Vuon Thom street and get off at the College of Transport 3 parking lot stop.

After getting off the bus, people walk about 26m to the opposite sidewalk on the left to the bus stop at the College of Transport 3 Parking Lot - (opposite D5/595) Vuon Thom Binh Chanh. Here, a free shuttle bus will take people to the location of the 2025 Vesak Festival.

Specifically, at Saigon bus station : Take bus number 04, 27 or 65 to An Suong bus station. Then, at An Suong bus station, passengers take bus number 71 to Cau Xang Primary School station and continue to take bus number 81.

At Cho Lon bus station : Take bus number 81 directly to the College of Transport 3 parking lot and move to the transfer parking lot number 3 according to general instructions.

At Ham Nghi Transfer Station: Take bus number 01 or 56 to Cho Lon bus station, then take bus number 81.

At the old Eastern Bus Station: Option 1 is for people to take bus number 24 to An Suong bus station, then take bus number 71 to Cau Xang Primary School station and continue to take bus number 81. Option 2 is to take bus number 14 to Tan Hoa station and transfer to take bus number 81.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center announced the temporary adjustment of the operating routes of two subsidized bus routes No. 71 (An Suong Bus Station - Phat Co Don) and No. 73 (Binh Chanh Market - Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park) to serve traffic organization during the United Nations Vesak Festival 2025 at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the temporarily adjusted routes of the two bus routes are as follows:

Bus route number 71: An Suong bus station - Phat Co Don

- Departure: An Suong Bus Station – National Highway 22 – (turn around at An Suong intersection) – National Highway 22 – Nguyen Thi Soc Street – Nguyen Anh Thu Street – Phan Van Hon Street – Phan Van Doi Street – Vinh Loc Street – Tran Van Giau Street – Cau Xang (turn around).

- Return: Cau Xang – Tran Van Giau Street – Vinh Loc Street – Phan Van Doi Street – Phan Van Hon Street – Nguyen Anh Thu Street – Nguyen Thi Soc Street – National Highway 22 – An Suong Bus Station.

Bus route number 73: Binh Chanh Market - Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park

- Outbound: Binh Chanh Market - National Highway 1 - Bui Thanh Khiet Street - Nguyen Huu Tri Street - Tan Tuc Street - turn around at the intersection with Road No. 6 - Tan Tuc Street - Nguyen Huu Tri Street - Cho Dem Bridge - Nguyen Cuu Phu Street - Provincial Road 10 - National Highway 1 - Road No. 7 extension - Tran Thanh Mai Street - Provincial Road 10 - Tran Van Giau Street - Lang Le Bau Co Street - Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park.

- Return: Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park - Tran Dai Nghia Street - Nguyen Cuu Phu Street - Cho Dem Bridge - Nguyen Huu Tri Street - Cho Dem - Nguyen Huu Tri Street - Bui Thanh Khiet Street - National Highway 1 - Dinh Duc Thien Street - Trinh Nhu Khue Street - Road 18B - Binh Chanh Market.
